The Chairman of the National Sports Commission, Shehu Dikko, has confirmed that all financial entitlements owed to Super Eagles players and officials have now been settled.
According to Dikko, the resolution ensures that the team can focus entirely on their performances without distractions over allowances or bonuses. He emphasized that the Commission remains committed to supporting the Super Eagles and providing the necessary resources for success in international competitions.
This announcement comes as a relief to fans and stakeholders, who have often raised concerns about delayed payments in Nigerian football. With the issue resolved, optimism is high as the Super Eagles continue their campaign in the ongoing AFCON tournament.
