Dr. Mrs. Aisha Sulaiman Achimugu, OFR, is a prominent Nigerian industrialist, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, recognized for her leadership in engineering, oil and gas, and humanitarian initiatives.
Early Life and Education:
Born on January 22, 1974, in Kuje, Abuja, Nigeria, Aisha is the daughter of Capt. J.E.A. Adole (Rtd.) and Mrs. Adole, both of whom served in the Nigerian military. She attended the Federal Government Girls Science School in Kuje before earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from the University of Jos in 1998. She furthered her education with a Master’s degree in Business Management from the University of Belize and received an Honorary Doctorate from the Commonwealth University in Belize. Additionally, she completed an Advanced Leadership Programme in Corporate Governance and Administration at the University of Cambridge’s Møller Institute.

Career:
Aisha Achimugu is the Group Managing Director and CEO of FELAK CONCEPT GROUP, a consortium specializing in civil, structural, and transportation engineering. She also chairs Bluewave Exploration and Production Limited and SAM Oil and Gas Limited, which focus on petroleum exploration, production, and distribution. Notably, she was the first female consultant and transaction advisor for the development of a Deep Sea Port in South-South Nigeria.
Beyond her business ventures, she founded the SAM Empowerment Foundation, a non-governmental organization dedicated to empowering women, youth, and children across Nigeria.
Personal Life:
Aisha was married to the late Sulaiman Akao Achimugu, a respected engineer and entrepreneur. The couple had three children. Tragically, Sulaiman passed away in 2020 due to complications from COVID-19.
