Remi Tinubu Named Grand Patron of African Women’s Volleyball Championship.

Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the First Lady of Nigeria, has been appointed the Grand Patron of the 2025 African Women’s Club Volleyball Championship. The announcement was made during a visit by the management team of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) and officials from the National Sports Commission (NSC) to the State House in Abuja. The championship, set to take place in Abuja from April 1 to 14, will see 24 clubs from across the African continent participating in what is expected to be a high-level competition.
