The marriage between popular Nigerian gospel singer, Paul Nwokocha, and his second wife, Mrs. Goodness Nwokocha, has reportedly ended. DAILY POST recalls that Nwokocha married Goodness in September 2023 after separating from his first wife, Alice Nwokocha, due to accusations of maltreatment.
Trouble began in May last year when Goodness allegedly faced ill treatment from the gospel singer. A family source revealed that Goodness, who had no prior relationship with Paul before their marriage, relocated from Lagos to marry him at the insistence of his uncles, without conducting any background checks. The bride price has since been returned to Paul Nwokocha’s family, signaling the formal end of the union.
Reacting to the development, Paul Nwokocha accused his new wife of sending nude images and videos to other men. In a video statement, he said, “If I marry today and I find out that the wife I married is doing abominable things before God and man, I will send you out of my house without any apology. How will you feel if the woman you call your wife is taking nude photos and videos and sending them to men? I married a wife, not a whore. So, I owe nobody an apology for this, stop calling me names.”
