The rumors gained traction when a social media user shared a photo of Apio and Asake, captioning it, “Asake and his girlfriend, Eva Apio.” In response, Apio took to her X (formerly Twitter) account to clarify, stating, “I was never his girlfriend” .
This brief yet firm denial has sparked discussions online, with some fans expressing surprise and others criticizing the tendency to assume romantic involvement based on public appearances.
