Music producer and Mavin Records boss Don Jazzy has opened up about his personal life, revealing that he once thought he would be married by the age of 40. The award-winning producer, who turned 42 earlier this year, made the disclosure while speaking on his journey and the expectations he once had for himself.
Don Jazzy, whose real name is Michael Collins Ajereh, admitted that despite his success in the music industry, his marital status remains one of the most frequently asked questions from fans and the media. According to him, life has taken a different course from what he initially envisioned, but he remains optimistic about the future.
The music mogul, who has nurtured some of Nigeria’s biggest stars including Rema, Ayra Starr, and Korede Bello, noted that his focus over the years has largely been on building his career and supporting young talent. However, he added that marriage is still something he hopes to experience at the right time.
