Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has reportedly given the green light to continue with Galatasaray, following a sensational loan spell that saw him score 37 goals in 41 appearances and lead the Turkish giants to a domestic double.
According to multiple sources, including transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Osimhen has agreed personal terms with Galatasaray on a three-year contract worth €16 million per year, with an option for a fourth2. The 26-year-old is said to have rejected offers from top European clubs and a massive €45 million-per-year deal from Al-Hilal, choosing instead to stay in Istanbul and be part of the club’s ambitious project.
However, the final hurdle remains: Napoli and Galatasaray are still negotiating the payment structure for Osimhen’s €75 million release clause, which expires on July 15, 2025. Galatasaray has reportedly submitted a €60 million bid, but Napoli are holding firm on the full amount.
If completed, the deal would be one of the biggest transfers in Turkish football history, backed by a coalition of corporate sponsors and commercial partners eager to keep Osimhen in the Super Lig.
