President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to embark on a two-day official visit to Katsina State starting Friday, May 2, 2025. The visit aims to address pressing security concerns and advance developmental efforts in the region.

During his stay, President Tinubu will engage with key stakeholders to assess the security situation in Katsina, a state that has faced persistent threats from banditry and other criminal activities in recent years. These high-level discussions are part of the President’s ongoing efforts to address security challenges across the country.

In addition to security talks, the President will commission two significant infrastructure projects completed under the administration of Governor Dikko Umar Radda: the Katsina Agricultural Mechanization Centre and a newly completed 24-kilometre dual carriageway. These projects are expected to boost food production through modern farming techniques and improve transportation within the state.

Beyond official engagements, President Tinubu will honor a personal invitation to attend the wedding ceremony of Governor Radda’s daughter, demonstrating his commitment to fostering strong relationships with political allies.

President Tinubu is expected to return to Abuja at the end of the two-day visit.
