The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has made a bold and spiritually charged revelation, stating that God told him that the church’s Governing Council meetings will one day be held on the moon. He made the announcement during a sermon that left congregants both awestruck and inspired.
Addressing worshippers at a recent service, Adeboye said the prophecy came to him in a divine revelation, and he believes it is only a matter of time before it comes to pass. “The time is coming when the RCCG Governing Council will be holding meetings on the moon. It may sound strange or even funny, but mark my words — it will happen,” he declared, drawing thunderous applause from the congregation.
He explained that God’s promises and visions often transcend human understanding and that believers should not limit their faith to earthly boundaries. “When God speaks, the wise listen. Men once thought it was impossible to fly, to communicate wirelessly, or to walk on the moon — but all these have become reality. Why then should it sound impossible for the people of God to take the Gospel beyond the earth?”
Pastor Adeboye also stressed that the church is not only expanding across continents but will also reach the skies and beyond. He likened the prophecy to earlier visions he had received, including the church’s global growth, which many doubted but has since come to fruition. He encouraged members of the church and the wider Christian community to prepare themselves spiritually and intellectually for what he called the “heaven-backed space move.”
His revelation has since gone viral on social media, sparking mixed reactions. While many believers embraced the vision as a symbol of the church’s limitless potential, others viewed it metaphorically, saying it represents the ever-expanding reach of the Gospel. A few skeptics, however, questioned the practicality of such a move.
Regardless of differing interpretations, Adeboye’s moon prophecy has once again stirred public discourse, reflecting his long-standing reputation for bold faith-driven declarations that challenge the norm and inspire global conversations.
