The National Population Commission (NPC) has issued a public warning regarding a fraudulent website falsely advertising recruitment for the upcoming 2025 Population and Housing Census. The website in question, https://npc-career.allprogram.site/job, is not affiliated with the NPC and aims to deceive unsuspecting individuals.
In an official statement, NPC’s Director of Public Affairs, Erelu Taibat Yemi Oloruntoba, emphasized that the Commission is not currently recruiting ad-hoc staff for the census. She clarified that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has yet to announce a date for the census and that any legitimate recruitment process will be officially communicated through national media and the NPC’s verified platforms.
The NPC urges the public to disregard any information from the fraudulent website to avoid falling victim to scams. The Commission is actively investigating the source of the fake website and advises individuals to rely solely on official NPC channels for accurate updates.
