The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has unveiled a new digital platform named the Drug Integrity Test and Visa E-Administration System, designed to streamline drug testing and visa clearance procedures for Nigerians. The portal was officially launched on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, in Abuja by NDLEA Chairman and CEO, Brigadier General Mohamed Buba Marwa (retd).
The initiative aims to enhance transparency, efficiency, and accessibility in the agency’s operations, particularly for individuals seeking international travel or employment. The portal allows users to book drug tests, access clearance certificates, and track application status—all online.
Brig. Gen. Marwa emphasized that the system is part of NDLEA’s broader digital transformation strategy to combat drug abuse and improve service delivery. He noted that the platform will reduce bottlenecks, eliminate corruption, and ensure timely processing of requests.
Stakeholders from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, immigration services, and health agencies attended the launch, commending the NDLEA for leveraging technology to support national drug control efforts.
