Afrobeats rising star Nasboi is on a mission that has never been seen before in Nigerian music. In a bid to get Davido’s attention for a feature, he has launched a nationwide campaign—kneeling in front of government buildings in all 36 states.
Nasboi kick-started his unusual plea in Osun State, holding a placard with a heartfelt message directed at Davido. He revealed that back in 2019, he started mimicking Davido in hopes of getting noticed, but it unexpectedly turned him into a viral comedy sensation. Now, he wants to return to his first dream—music.
Davido has since reacted with playful amusement, commenting “set up” with a laughing emoji, but fans are eager to see whether the five-time Grammy nominee will grant Nasboi his wish.
