The Lagos State Government has announced a temporary traffic diversion ahead of the 7th Road Edition of the Lagos Autofest 2025 Race, scheduled to take place on Sunday, December 22, 2025.
According to officials, the diversion is necessary to ensure smooth traffic management and safety during the high-profile motorsport event. The Lagos Autofest, now in its seventh edition, has become one of the city’s most anticipated automobile festivals, attracting participants and spectators from across Nigeria and beyond.
Motorists are advised to plan their movements accordingly, as designated routes will be closed or redirected during the race. The government assured residents that traffic officers will be deployed to manage flow and minimize inconvenience.
