Controversial crossdresser Idris ‘Bobrisky’ Okuneye has refuted allegations of defaming human rights lawyer Femi Falana and his son, rapper Falz. He also rejected their request for a public retraction and apology.

The defamation claims stem from a disputed audio recording, attributed to Bobrisky last month. However, Bobrisky has denied that the voice in the recording, which made remarks about Mr. Falana and referenced his own time in jail earlier this year, belongs to him.

He refuted claims of ever giving money to Falana or Falz, contrary to a leaked audio recording in which a voice resembling his was heard describing how the father and son allegedly requested N10 million to help secure a presidential pardon for his conviction earlier this year.

In a statement posted on his Instagram page on Wednesday, Bobrisky stated, “I, Okuneye Idris, also known as Bobrisky, did not give any money to Falz or his father for a pardon. In fact, not a single penny was given to them. I’ve said this before, and I will say it again.”
