The 77th Primetime Emmy Awards crowned the best of television on Sunday, with Adolescence and The Studio emerging as the night’s biggest winners.
Adolescence, a powerful limited series, took home Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series and swept acting categories with Stephen Graham, Erin Doherty, and Owen Cooper all earning trophies. Cristin Milioti also shone, winning Lead Actress in a Limited Series for her role in The Penguin.
In comedy, The Studio claimed the coveted Outstanding Comedy Series award, with Seth Rogen winning Lead Actor in a Comedy Series. Veteran star Jean Smart added to her legacy with another win for Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for Hacks, while her co-star Hannah Einbinder secured Supporting Actress. Jeff Hiller of Somebody Somewhere rounded out the comedy acting winners with Supporting Actor.
Drama belonged to The Pitt, which scored Outstanding Drama Series. Noah Wyle was honored with Lead Actor, Katherine LaNasa earned Supporting Actress, while Severance made its mark with acting wins for Britt Lower and Tramell Tillman.
Other notable victories included The Traitors winning Outstanding Reality Competition Program and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert taking Outstanding Talk Series, underscoring a dynamic year across television’s biggest genres.
