Tems to Perform at First-Ever FIFA Club World Cup Halftime Show

Nigerian superstar Tems has been announced as part of the historic first-ever halftime show at a FIFA Club World Cup Final, set to take place this July. She will join international artists Doja Cat and J Balvin in an event that blends football and music on a global stage.

The halftime show, curated by Chris Martin of Coldplay, will support the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, an initiative aiming to raise $100 million to improve educational access and youth football programs worldwide. Tems expressed excitement about the opportunity, stating, “We’re going to bring the world together for a beautiful moment—to celebrate football, feel the unity that music brings, and improve the lives of millions of children.”

The FIFA Club World Cup 2025 will begin on June 13 and feature 32 top football clubs, including Manchester City, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and Inter Miami CF. The final, scheduled for July 13, will be held at MetLife Stadium in the United States, where Tems will take center stage.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino described the event as a “history-making moment”, emphasizing the power of football and music to unite the world.
