In a dramatic political twist, the Social Democratic Party (SDP) has expelled former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai and banned him from any association with the party for 30 years. According to SDP officials, El-Rufai never registered at his ward level as required by the party’s constitution, yet publicly declared on social media that he had joined the party.
