It was a journey for us because we have kids, and my lastborn was six months old at that time,” she said. Following the surgery, Johnson-Okojie was informed that she would need to be on medication for the rest of her life, with strict adherence to avoid potential side effects. “They said I can’t miss my medication, telling me the side effects,” she explained. Addressing public speculation about her weight loss, the actress clarified that it is a result of her medical condition and treatment. “So, I’m reconciling with what you’re saying [about my weight loss]. I’m at the point where you realize that this is where we are; let’s grow from here and live in this comfort zone,” she shared.
