The event, held at the Blueroof Auditorium of Lagos State Television in Ikeja, drew colleagues who came together to mourn and celebrate her life ahead of her burial scheduled for Friday.
Among the notable attendees were Iyabo Ojo and Odunlade Adekola, joined by other industry heavyweights such as Saheed Balogun, Bolaji Amusan, Abiola Adebayo, Fausat Balogun, Eniola Ajao and Fathia Balogun. Many guests wore customised white T‑shirts bearing Ademola’s portrait as a mark of respect, reflecting the deep affection her peers held for her.
The service featured emotional tributes and prayers, with close friend and actor Rotimi Salami delivering a heartfelt message asking attendees to forgive the late actress for any wrongs and to keep her legacy alive through unity and continued remembrance. Following the indoor service, participants took part in a candlelight procession and an Artistes’ Night programme, offering a public tribute and time for collective mourning. The gathering highlighted the solidarity within Nollywood as the film community honoured one of their own whose career spanned decades and whose contributions left an indelible mark on the industry.
