Nigerian content creator Kuye Adegoke, popularly known as Egungun of Lagos, has addressed the controversy surrounding a leaked video that has stirred online debates and criticism.
The viral video, which surfaced on social media, captures Egungun on a video call with an unidentified woman while brushing his teeth. During the interaction, the creator, dressed in shorts, unintentionally exposed his private parts.
This incident follows claims by his wife, Pashotah, about a blackmail attempt involving her husband’s private videos. According to her, a Snapchat user had screen-recorded a video Egungun intended to send to her while he was away. Unfortunately, the clip was mistakenly shared on his Snapchat story, prompting a wave of backlash.
In defense of their marriage, Pashotah earlier stated that the couple remains united despite the ordeal, describing the blackmail attempts as a test of their resilience. However, the leaked video has reignited criticism, with many questioning Egungun’s image as a family man and casting doubt on his wife’s previous support.
Unbothered by the storm of comments, Egungun recently posted a video on Instagram, where he danced energetically with a woman to the song Gimme Love by Zlatan and Olamide. He captioned the video, “That’s massive baby but still give me your love baby,” signaling a nonchalant attitude toward the ongoing controversy.
Egungun’s response has only added fuel to the ongoing discourse, leaving audiences divided on his actions and public persona.
