Connie Grace, the girlfriend of Chelsea and England star Cole Palmer, has opened up for the first time about their long-term relationship. The couple’s love story began when they were both just 17 years old, and despite Palmer’s rising stardom, their bond has remained strong.
In a recent interview for the Amazon Prime documentary titled “England’s Lions: A New Generation,” Grace described Palmer as “warm and cuddly,” highlighting his unwavering commitment to both his career and their relationship. “Cole now is still the same Cole that I met when I was 17. Obviously, he’s changed, he’s grown up, and his life now is completely different, but he’s still the same boy, he’s still laid-back Cole,” she said.
Palmer, who went public with their romance at the 2024 GQ Men of the Year Awards, has faced scrutiny for his performance on the pitch during the 2024-25 season. Despite this, Grace insists that fame and fortune haven’t changed him. “He’s not bothered about the whole fame side of it and he’s not bothered what people think of him. He is only just bothered about scoring goals and doing well for his team, doing well for his country, and you’ve got to love him for that,” she added.
Their relationship serves as a testament to their enduring love and mutual support, proving that even in the world of professional sports, genuine connections can thrive.
